Carnival Brewing Company in Liverpool City Centre is looking for an experienced, self-motivated and well connected sales manager, starting in August.
The role is a vital component in the brewery’s growth plan over the next two years.
The role is focused on working with our existing customer base to ensure their needs are being met on a weekly basis, while looking at and securing opportunities in the region to acquire new customers.
The successful candidate will have experience dealing with all levels of the hospitality industry, from craft bars, traditional pubs, retailers, restaurants and wholesalers (and ideally with export experience), with good contacts in each of these market segments.
You will be experienced with databases and direct marketing techniques, a team player and of course you’ll be a social person who enjoys hosting face-to-face events and representing the business at trade events, tap take overs and other events. You should have excellent social media skills and be a regular contributor on the company's social media accounts, including content generation and customer relationship management.
You will have e-commerce experience, managing online webshops and online sales campaigns to extend the reach of Carnival products to direct sale consumers.
You will be a key member of a small team, liaising directly with the production staff and ensuring that customer orders are delivered on-time.
Salary range starts at £24,500 with contributory pension and good discount on beer.
Due to the nature of the role and the experience necessary, the salary is negotiable with a recent industry benchmarked starting point and a bonus payable when weekly stretching sales targets are successfully met.
We're a small team, so the successful candidate will be required to help in other areas of the brewery from time-to-time.
