When planning Carnival we set out to create beer that went perfectly with food. We wanted to work with the best in the business to get beer into the glasses of diners across the land. This new collaboration with York small plates legends Skosh exemplifies these aims.
Skosh's South East Asian influenced cuisine and razor sharp dining experience has wowed the people of York and visitors to the city since it opened 6 years ago. Last year, we worked with owner and head chef, Neil Bentinck to create an exclusive honey and rhubarb beer that complemented the delicious seasonal menu.
This year, we've joined forces again to create something super zingy and refreshing. We opted for Lime Leaf as the lead flavour, delivering huge waves of aromatic, perfumed lime leaf. We pair the lime leaf with a hint of unwaxed organic lime zest and some Simcoe hops for a little dose of juiciness, all amped up by the esters from our house English ale yeast.
Cans are available from Skosh Mickelgate and Carnival Brewing Company with a few cans making their way out into independent bottle shops and bars.

We store Skosh in the cellar to keep it cold while in transit, so it gets to you in optimal condition. For best results we recommend you store in the fridge and drink within six months of purchase.
