Brewed at Carnival for the Liverpool Craft Beer Expo in collaboration with Varvar Brew, Weird Beard Brew Co, Bundobust and a whole host of Merseyside/Wirral breweries.

The beer was brewed on the 19th May 2022 - Vyshyvanka Day, Ukraine's day of national dress. The on-point artwork by Georgemma Hunt is based on typical vyshyvanka embroidered designs and inspired by those who celebrate this special day in Ukraine.

Starting with Varvar's celebrated Ukrainian Golden Ale recipe as a base, the collab team made a few twists to the recipe to produce a juicy, malty golden ale with hints of coriander and tropical flavours from Citra hops.

For every keg/case of Vyshyvanka sold, Carnival will make a donation to the Help Ukraine GoFundMe appeal, which raises money to help refugees and those affected by Putin's war in Ukraine.

Storage Instructions

We store Vyshivanka in the cellar to keep it cold while in transit, so it gets to you in optimal condition. For best results we recommend you store in the fridge and drink within six months of purchase.
